About the Podcast
Matt Coggins and Matt Oakley have been friends since before they were born—literally. Growing up together in Stevenage, they shared everything: bikes, jokes, and the misfortune of going to schools near The John Bendy Hooligan School (which, let’s face it, nobody likes. No one. Ever).
They eventually parted ways for secondary school—different places, same town—but stayed close. Years passed. Life did its thing. Then one day, Mr. Oakley started sending Mr. Coggins Spotify playlists with dreams of making it onto the radio. Mr. C didn’t realize it at the time, but he needed that. The Universe, of course, did.
Fast forward: Mr. O gets on the radio. To fill a gap in the show, he brings on Mr. C for 20-minute chats about music, artists, and whatever else came up. It worked. It clicked. So we turned those moments into a podcast—this podcast.
It’s a tribute to those times, that friendship, and the power of good music and good mates.
